About TrueMelt™ Pressure Transducer

      Our flagship "TrueMelt™ Transducer" specializes in the measurement of medium to low range melt pressure (as low as 0-500psi). XPTS-Series while based on the traditional strain gauge, incorporates an advanced thermal compensation technology. This is needed because thermal zero shift due to processing temperature increase can drift pressure readings by as much as 5% to 20%FSO. XPTS-Series limits thermal zero shift to less than 5psi/100°F compared to >50psi/100°F of that of typical melt pressure transducers on the market. XPTS-Series' temperature-pressure compensation is automatically achieved without any problematic auto-zeroing/manual-zeroing functions.
