About TrueMelt™ Pressure Transducer

      Our flagship "TrueMelt™ Transducer" specializes in the measurement of medium to low melt pressure ranges (as low as 0-250psi). XPTS-Series while based on the traditional strain gauge platform, incorporates an advanced thermal compensation technology. This is necessary because thermal zero shift due to processing temperature increase can drift pressure readings by as much as 5% to 20%FSO. XPTS-Series limits thermal zero shift to less than 5psi/100°F compared to >50psi/100°F of that of typical melt pressure transducers. This temperature-pressure compensation is automatically achieved without manual functions such as auto-zero that may be problematic.
