Nominal Controls Participates in Defense Research

We are pleased to announce our recent participation in the 2024 CUAS Sandbox, an event organized by Department of National Defence, the Defence Research and Development of Canada, and the Canadian Armed Forces. Read more here.

Validating Our Innovative Controls Architecture

During the event, we successfully validated a relatively unique and effective power control architecture. This new architecture demonstrated its potential to power and control real-world CUAS systems. Our goal is to eventually scale up this system, making it viable for powering larger systems.

Green Light for Continued Research

Following the success of our participation in the sandbox, we are moving ahead with further refinement efforts. The insights and feedback gained from this event are invaluable as we continue to strengthen and upgrade our system while addressing its limitations noted at the sandbox.

Looking Ahead

Nominal Controls remains at the forefront of sensors and controls technology. We are seeking to work with North American partners to innovate end-use system that meet evolving challenges in the defence and security arena. Our participation in 2024 sandbox reflects our dedication in researching and developing solutions for Canada's defence industry.

We look forward to sharing our progress and solutions that emerge from our continued efforts.
