DRV-Series DC Motor Reversing Solid State Relays, or Forward & Reverse SSRs, are rated up to 200VDC and 200A, It is used for the polarity reversing of DC loads such as motors, actuators, thermoelectric elements, and electrochemicals. With a full solid-state H-bridge construction, the internal diode bridge provide a natural discharge path for back-EMF generated at inductive loads’s turn-OFF. This results in a DC switch that is arc-free, wear-free, and noise-free.

Two models are available, DRVS- Standard Model is for polarity reversing application only, while the DRVA- Advanced Model combines the function of both a DC reverser and a motor controller, thus can be used to control power via PWM with a TTL, CMOS or other logic signal.

          Selection Guidelines
          • Choose rated voltage 2x the operating voltage for inductive loads.
          • Rated continuous current must be greater than worst-case operating or stall current.
          • Heatsink should be selected based on worst case stall current, unless protected with overload cut-off, or thermal cut-off switches.
